6 Years & Counting

September 5, 2009, our 6 year Anniversary.

My mom watched the kids for us Friday while we went to Tsunami (our favorite). It was so nice to be ALONE for a while. Normally when we have our dates.....we bring the kids! Even our waitress noticed we were alone this time (yes, we go there alot). We actually really celebrated our anniversary/my birthday a couple of weeks prior at the Zermatt Resort, complete with couples massage & a jacuzzi in our room! It was absolutely unforgettable! Ahhh. Thanks to David for helping with that & Mom for watching the kids. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Anyway, dinner was awesome and we enjoyed our time together. Thank you again Mom! The next day, which was our actual anniversary, we had planned to spend with the kids. My back has been out for several days and I have been unable to do much of anything so we decided to enslave, oh I mean reward the children for doing extra chores to help me out! ;) Each had a list of things they could do to help out and earn nickels to go to the Nickelcade. The secret plan worked! Between the 4 of us, my house was cleaned quickly with the least amount of moaning & groaning ever! We went to the Nickelcade then to see the movie "UP". We could not have chosen a better movie to see on our anniversary. It made us teary. This IS the adventure and we are both so glad to be taking this journey together. I am so grateful to be in this relationship, and in this adventure with my best friend. I love my honey!
