7-11-09 - Camping @ Cascade Springs

With Bailey home for the weekend, we packed up and headed up the Alpine Loop, one of my favorite places to camp. It is so gorgeous up there and so close it makes running away for the weekend easy. This was Issacs first camping trip and he did great, he loves being outdoors.

The weather was lovely and we had a blast. Saturday morning we even ran home, showered and took Jayden to his baseball game. then straight back up the canyon for our beloved Stewart Falls hike. Jaydens first 4 miler without being carried part of it so we were ALL glad for that! The falls were gorgeous. Bailey slipped and got quite a lovely bunch of raspberries on her back because Chewy decided he wanted to walk a different way. It was so nice to be up there with just our family we had alot of great connecting and talking. Loved it! Can't wait to go back!
