Happy Birthday to Jayden!!

Jayden is 5!

I can't believe it! For his grand 5th birthday, Jay boy wanted to go camping. So a camping we went! We went to our beloved Timponogos Campground, had birthday dinner & birthday cake......Ahhh birthday cake......(insert moment of silence)........K to put this in perspective, there is ZERO junk food in my house. For Jayden's 5th birthday cake he wants me to make "Smores" cake since it follows his camping theme.

Smores cake = Graham cracker crust, brownie with large chocolate chunk pieces, chocolate frosting & of course lovely browned marshmellows on top. (Drool) Bad picture, but a good picture wouldn't have made it look better. Bailey accidently shut the fridge door on it weird & tipped it on its side so it set funny. It was an absolute eewy gooey yummy nummy mess. Sven & I had a small piece and about died. We just looked at eachother with a smile as our eyes rolled back into our heads wanting it never to end..... Yes I am going on & on it was THAT GOOD + it was funnier than it sounds. OK, OK, back to birthday. After cake, Jay opened his presents with absolute glee then was told to check a nearby bush for possible bears or racoons. "Nope! None there" he said and came back to the table. We laughed and sent him back to look harder, this time he squealed and came back wih his new bike! He was very pleased. Jayden asked that we play a party game at his party so he came up with pin the smile on.......

It was hilarious and everyone had fun with Jayden's smile afterwards. Isaac had enough partying, so he slept in the trailer while we played.

We had our campfire and told spooky add along stories (where each person takes a turn telling part of the story) then Daddy read a spooky cave story & "The Tell-tale Heart" aloud. We loved it and had a great time.
